Hey guys, I was wondering how to get your McMaster email and McMaster student card?

I already made my macID which I needed to make in order to apply for residence, but I was wondering how I would go about making my McMaster email and getting my McMaster student card.

For the e-mail:
Go here: https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /cis/ahtml/login.htm
Click on "My MUGSI"
Click on "Enable your MAC ID Services"
Then go to: https://studentmail.mcmaster. ca to access it.

For the McMaster student card:
It will be mailed to you sometime this summer.

When you got accepted you should have gotten a form in your package that asks you for your name, signature,photo...jus t fill it out and mail it to Gilmour hall (I think)...deadline is like sometime in June.

You don't have to create an email, its already created for you (if you already activated your mac id services).

when i go to https://sso.mcmaster.ca/shibboleth-i...n/UserPassword and put in my MacID and Password, it says "

• At this time you are not eligible for a McMaster Email account.
  • This service is based on your academic registration.
  • When you have completed your academic registration through SOLAR, you will be able to activate your Email and other MAC ID services via MUGSI Quick Links: "Enable Email & Mac ID Services".
• Contact the UTS Service Desk for assistance (email: [email protected] or telephone: 905-525-9140 extension 24357)."

Yup, was wondering the same thing. I get this too

If they are saying that to get your email , you have to first register on SOLAR, then probably they will not give you your email until you register for your courses in June.

I don't remember if I had to register on solar before getting my email...Anyways, you can also call the UTC service desk and ask them..they will help you out!
