Girl is little mad at the moment.
There is girl that I talk to regularly. I was busy earlier this week and I kept cutting conversation short because I was busy with test and assignments. Girl, who was initiator, stopped talking. And I initiated today but she was not very responsive. What can I say to make her feel better?

Ummm...she could understand that there might be an urgency. And you could've also clarified that you're busy instead of cutting short. Now you could you just tell her that it was your bad and you were a bit off mood?

Tell her why you seemed uninterested in conversation before, since the reasons are legit.
If she doesn't understand it, its her problem.

i'd just initiate a little more this week and then things will restore. right now you have the power and her not talking is her attempt at getting the power back.

thats true, normally when you've got the upper hand, your the one getting the attention. Maybe she is holding back because she doesnt want to appear clingy-ish since she noticed you weren't fully into the converstations.
Its definitely permanent damage though, just explain how you were busy and you can even make a convo on how all the work mcmaster is giving you is a kick to the jiblettes.

like you werent cold, you were just busy, its a legit reason so you didnt hurt her or anything. Its not like a girl was complaining about how her friends are all doing better than her in school and she felt so stupid around them and all you could say was "well, hang out with stupider people".
