GAH. I went all the way to Union station to get one of their stupid ID cards only to be told I didn't need it either. I can't believe this, first off a ticket seller says my McMaster ID is no good, THEN GO confirms on the phone, and now apparently it's fine? Wtf!

Yep, but apparently you don't need it. And they wouldn't give me one without a signed form from McMaster.

Your student card is supposed to be fine, but apparently the people selling tickets don't know that, so the customer service person at Union station told me to have them call their supervisor if they gave me trouble.
