Good Dentists in Hamilton
I need to my wisdom teeth removed and I was wondering what other peoples experiences were with either the Jackson Square Dental Centre or the Campus Dentist. Did you feel like they were very friendly and professional and knew what they were doing? Thanks

Wouldnt this have been something better handled over the Christmas Break with your family dentist? Anyways i haven't heard any bad comments about either of the two dental practices you previously stated. I didnt know that the campus dentist did procedures like that either

When I had mine removed, I had to go to an "Oral Surgeon", apparently a more specialized type of dental person, (often called a "Jaw Breaker"). If that's what you need, then the Campus Dentist should be able to handle the referral.

The process involved general anaesthesia. A responsible person had to accompany me to take me home after awakening. A lot of Tylenol Threes for a few days. In about a week, I was ready to resume normal life again. If you miss classes for a week, at least you'll have documentation to back up the absence. On the other hand, I've heard of people ready to go again the next day.

My wisdom teeth were coming in horizontal and my dentist didn't want to touch them lol. I will likely need an oral surgeon but didn't really know of any around. I will look into the Campus Dentist more, thanks!

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed from an oral surgeon, Dr. Pye. He is located by Limeridge Mall and also has an office in Burlington. I had my x-rays sent to him from my dentist because they were pretty recent

I had local freezing for 2 teeth and it was done in literally 5 minutes ... one of my tooth was growing out already and another had tissue over it still so he cut it, then removed my tooth

I'm with Dr Dim on Dundurn (in the plaza) and he's pretty good. My ex had her wisdom teeth removed there and Jackson dental; Both did an OK job but Dim was more pleasant overall. (I'm pretty sure it was directly with Dim)
My sisters friend had hers done with Jackson and they messed something up and didn't knock her out for it which she didn't choose! Probably just a fluke but i haven't heard the best things with Jackson.
