I'll second this, its a very easy and interesting class. I know quite a few science students who did well in it, as well as a few that didn't. The ones who didn't were poor writers in general though- if you did well in high school English you can probably do well in this class.

Its based around "problems" of philosophy, you'll be learning about the debates behind God's existence, free will, and the meaning of life. Its all incredibly interesting.

I didn't buy the textbook, but it might be one of the ones I'd recommend. I've ended up reading books by a few of the philosophers we studied based on hearing about them through this course, and kindof wish I could go back and read some of the things we didn't cover.
