good places to eat....with mealcard
hey there,

so i realized that i have had almost everything there is to have at mac, ive eaten at bistro, centro, msu, and im getting bored of the food that they have.

i really want to find some places off campus that accept the meal card, the only ones i know are ginos and boston pizza. does anyone know which other places around mac take meal cards

thanks

East Side Marios, kelseys, Pizza Pizza, and Basalique are the first ones that come to mind

On-campus options:
-Mary E. Keyes' Need-a-pita (great pitas and chicken fingers and fries)
-Bistro (try the Chicken Teriyaki. AMAZING)
-Bridges (Sweet potato fries. Mmmm.)
-La Piazza in MUSC (go to the pasta place, and try the crepes)
-Centro at Commons (make sure you try the pasta and salad places)
-Mohawk Health Sci building (little-realized large cafeteria in the building beside JHE across the street; a lot of good options there)
-Smoothie place on the 2nd floor of DBAC (the gym building, good and nutritious smoothies)
-1280 (much better food this year; be advised this comes off of your Freedom account, because it is MSU and not McMaster)

Off-campus:
-Gino's Pizza
-Boston Pizza
-East Side Marios
-Pita Pit (DELIVERY ON CAMPUS )
-Kelsey's
-Basilique

There's enough options, trust me.

Amaryll, Chevalier all say thanks to bcars for this post.

To the post above, I don't think Mahal takes meal cards. I went there once, but I can't remember for sure =/. Best I've tried are Basilique (delivery on specific times/days), East Side Mario's (VERY good), Kelsey's (<3!) and Pita Pit

Just giving you a heads up, the money that these stores take are from your flex/freedom account, which doesn't expire and is actually transferable to your future years at mac. You still have a basic account with $2000+ that you need to clear out by the end of the school year.

anyways, PITA PIT accepts meal card. If you haven't yet, you gotta try out their chicken ceasar, swiss cheese, veggies on the grill, ceasar sauce!!!!!
