So I decided to log onto the National Student Loans Service Centre to check up on my loans and I discovered that it's in "grace period". From the website, it says
Grace Period The six-month period after you either graduate or leave school. You are not required to make loan payments during your grace period, but interest will accrue on your loan.

Anyways, I just finished my first year, so after I enroll again will the interest disappear since I'm not graduating? This makes no sense . And I'm getting charged like 5% annually.

You have to either apply for OSAP and actually get it, or contact SFAS and fill out a form to notify of continuing education.
