I checked during the day yesterday and it wasn't up. I assume it came out by midnight, which I was asleep then.

If you have a 6 credit course, an "interim" grade will be posted at the end of the 1st semester to show what your grade is half way through the course. This grade is not your final grade as it only reflects your grade from the 1st half of the course and not the whole course.

Usually they don't tell students if they bell curved the marks, but you can guess from your final mark. For example, i might walk into a (terribly hard) exam with a 50%. In that case if i end up with a 60% in the course, i can guess that something happened...or you might have done better than you thought
Also, if everyone did bad in the exam and got a good mark in the course, you kindda know that the marks got adjusted somehow.

Based on the difficulty of the test. Usually a 1 is a bellcurved one

Sometimes you just know. Like in first year, I wasn't able to do half the Math 1A03 exam since I spent too much time on some questions and left about half the exam blank. Then somehow, my final mark went up, so the only solution is that they increased everyone's mark (via lowering the denominator I believe, no true bell curving allowed at McMaster).
