I do not believe the school should provide the grades to the parents, but the parents should not pay their children's tuition until they see their grades.
However parents need to be realistic when it comes to their expectations when it comes to grades, especially in university.

I agree, to an extent. If parents knew how badly their children were doing in school, they would pressure you into taking it more seriously, or cut off the wasteful spending, LOL.
I know mine would pester me into stop doing stupid things and get some homework done when I'm at home.
