Interm Grade Reports Dec 2008!

Interm Grade Reports Dec 2008!

Officially, Term 1 and Term 3 (mid-term) grades come out between Thursday, December 18, 2008 to Thursday, April 9, 2009 but if you wrote an exam within the first week of the exam period your grade might be out on your grade reports! One of mine is!

To access your grade reports go to the McMaster Website, click on MUGSI in the upper right hand corner, then click on Grade Reports on the left hand menu (it's the first option), it will tell you the official statement regarding grades, click continue, it will prompt you for your MAC ID, and vola! Your grade report!

Remember that McMaster uses a Grade Point System, so you get a mark on a scale from 1-12. Also, don't panic if all of your marks are not up at the same time, they do not usually all go up at once. All the courses that you are registered in are shown, even those for term 2 and 3, so don't freak out when those are left blank. The number (1, 2 or 3) is listed before the course code, make sure you look for it before you panic!

Hope you all did well!!

Nope, it just means the grades aren't ready yet for those courses, so you should check again the next business day. If you failed a course, it'll say you got an "F" and "0".

What happens if it doesn't show any of my courses, and says:
  • The data you requested is NOT available.
  • Record not found
When I try to log onto mugsi, it says its full. Could this be why my courses aren't showing up?

I get the same thing. I'm so freakin tired of this piece of crap MUGSI/SOLAR thing crashing when it gets even the slightest amount of network traffic. It nearly drove me to the point of insanity of the summer with course selection. I swear, the IT crew in charge of this probably put the error in just to add further suspense.

Has anyone with an "internal error" been able to log in eventually? I've been getting that message for the past 10 minutes.

BTW my heart is going to come out of my chest

The crappiness of the MUGSI servers is getting to be absolutely ridiculous...

Honestly, this is ****ing retarded. You think a university with that much disposable income would be able to buy the newest and most cutting edge servers...

Yeahh, I should've figured anything like this would be a nightmare in the first few hours. It always is with MUGSI. Don't get me started on SOLAR man.
