Hey,

I e-mailed the department, and they said: Dr. Paul Harrison will be the instructor for Chem 2OA3. Dr. Spencer Knight will be instructing Chem 2OB3

Now I am lost as to who is teaching!

Greg is the year 2 coordinator. Jeff Landry is the coordinator for year 1; Greg has a similar role except for second years.

Paul is amazing. He goes through the material thoroughly, lots of examples and detailed slides/video

Everybody has different opinions. I really liked Harrison - and no, that's not sarcasm.
Just because a few people say a prof is good or bad, that doesn't mean you'll share in that opinion.
I can think of at least one example where about 80% of the people I spoke to, and of the reviews online, really liked a particular prof. I could not stand her.

General consensus is that people don't like harrison and his methods of teaching. Mostly everyone found the textbook much more useful than his lectures. Just hope for the best.

I had Harrison for 2OA2 and 2OB3 this year, and I didn't like him. I found he rushed through too much of the important material. More than half the class skipped most of the time. The textbook was definitely more helpful than he was, but was too easy in my opinion compared to his tests.

How are you guys studying for the exam? I agree, the textbook was too easy compared to his tests, so I don't really know how to study for this exam lol

They will be podcasted however you'll realize his lectures are useless and the textbook is the way to go. I'd suggest finding more practice questions other than the textbook since they aren't representative of the tests as people have mentioned.
