Hamilton Pride Week

Hamilton Pride Week

Although not as big as the Pride festival that occurs in Toronto, Hamilton Pride has lots of events occurring between now and when the festival closes on Sunday June 21, 2009. There are lots of things happening for those in the queer community, as well as families and non-LGBTQ individuals. They are also looking for volunteers to help with the festival, and you can check out more info here.

If you check out their scheduled events, there is at least one happening daily, with the larger events on June 19-21. MacInsiders had added many of the events to our calender, and they show up on the feed to the right.

You can find out more information from the Pride Festival website. You can also check out their Facebook group, Twitter feed, and blog.

My brother went to Toronto's Pride last year too. He said it was really awesome. I might go this year. My summer schedule is so empty >.<

Last year's Toronto Pride festival was amazing! I had a lot of fun. The people, the crowd, and the atmosphere is so full of energy. Not to mention the awesome freebies.
