what happen if i wanna drop a course after deadline
so im in first year commerce
and wanna drop philosophy
i know the deadline was jan 11th
so if i drop out now
is it just financial penalty?

There is, however, an absolute date where it will be listed as failure, but that is near exam time.

The last date to cancel a term 2 course without it being considered a fail is March 11.

But I know someone who's dropped 5 courses after mid-october but still got his money back 100% after talking to the people in the registrar office, so i guess you should also give a try

Dropping 5 is very different - that basically means he's quitting for at least the semester.

If youre in Commerce one, don't you need all the required units to pass onto Commerce II?
If you don't have all the courses youre considered part time..

minimum of 24 to go onto year 2, to get into honors commerce 3 you will need to take an additional 2 courses.

Oh ok, cause the website says 30 unit load requirement. I guess that can be made up by taking extra courses year 2.
