The Silverwing series was awesome. I still have all the books.
As for splitting the final film into two, I think it's a brilliant idea. There is just soo much that is going on in the final book, it would be impossible to tell the story in only one movie. However, I've read that the cliffhanger is in a pretty unexpected spot. Oh well, people who read the book know what happens anyway.
I'm so dressing up for opening night. I did that for the last movie too and got on TV. hehe
patelp: Why don't you come to a theatre on the mountain (where all the good theatres are lol)? Instead of going all the way to T.O.

Silverwing series is awesome!!! and I'd take that over twilight anyday. But Its all about Harry Potter!!! I really can't wait!!
Did you guys read the new book from the silverwing series?

I meant to read the new book!! But I completely forget the characters and plot from the previous ones. How is the new one? Should I reread the one before it? Or does it take place with different characters?

I rather enjoy it in Toronto with friends and stuff. I could go home right after the movie anyway.
I think I'm going to read all the books over again to haha. Just got to plan it out so that I finish HBP, on Thursday. A book a day sounds good.

OMG its really good!!! Its completely different. It takes place before silvering... it explains how the birds and bats hate each other and there's like this epic war.

I may or may not have pre-ordered my tickets to the midnight show last week.
So freakin' excited I can't contain myself.

You know you wanted Harry to marry Ginny if he lived... I felt a few more people should have died... like someone in the trio... I did cry when Fred died though.

I like to avoid spoilers, even though most people probably read it and everything, so bear with my pathetics attempts at mystery.
Darkwing? No. I've been meaning too, but people given me wired looks. XD. You know who else I like, while we're on the Silverwing thread? David Clement Davies. He wrote The Sight and Firebringer and I love those books too. I keep them beside my Silverwing set. I should read those again too... lol
As for Twilight, I absolutely despise it. The grammar and style is what really kills me - I hope people with those writing skills don't get through at Mac. XD.
But the cliffhanger at an odd part? Oh dear. I just hope it doesn't happen where I think it'll happen, namely anywhere between Chapters "The Cave" and "The Flight of the Prince" for those who read it. But maybe that's too late in the book...hmmm....then again, we do see the cave in one of the trailers....
Oh my gosh, we should start a book club. XD.
The actual ending was satisfactory, though the last chapter pretty sugary - it was like whoever was around got with whoever else. Eh. BTW, I kinda knew how the trio would split in like book three. Made me happy to have guessed right. I thought the people who didn't make it didn't get enough of a treatment - remember how huge the death in book 5 was? I wish book 7's deaths were given the same sort of length, esspecially one of my favs - book 5's buddy.

Ummm the 7th movie is going to be cut into 2 parts, not the 6th book w/ the Cave and Prince. The movie coming out Wednesday is the 6th book movie and it will be the full book.
Re: Harry and Ginny. I thought Luna would be a better match for Harry. That said someone made a good point about them that I read one time. Marrying Ginny gave Harry something he had always longed for, a real family in the Weasley's. So it was nice. Frankly though I wasn't too concerned about that romance.
I was all about Ron/Hermione ended up together. Love them.

XD. My sister told me it was book 6 and probably book 7.
Well, that's good then, no silly cliffy.
OMG! I loved LUNA, she was so awesome. Ginny was kinda eh. More annoying than anything to me, but I didn't dislike her...much.

I sort of don't buy Harry and Ginny together. Like I don't get his lust for her, it's weird.
Hermione and Ron were a much more natural pairing, in the books and movies. The romance was built up perfectly. The tension is amazing and when they finally get it. <3

Thing is, who else could Harry have? I don't go for Ginny either, but he almost certainly did have to have someone, it being a happy/almost ideal ending.
Hermonine's with Ron
Luna's pretty spacy - she's awesome, but most of their convos are too akward to be very romantic. Most of the time, Harry ducks out for homework of something.
Lavender, Parvarti, etc. (ex: side ladies) just aren't important enough.
Most of the other ladies he knows are too old or married/invovled...
Unless I'm forgetting someone...? It was a while ago.
