Has anyone had Jeff Landry for Chem?
I switched into his class for Chem 1A03 from Hatala. I thought Hatala was great and I would love to continue being his student, but by moving my chem from Hatala's core I freed up space to put my Bio 1M03 to 11.30 instead of 8.30, thus allowing me to get up 3 hours later.
Anyone have any opinions of Landry?

He sounds super enthusiastic to me, which is what I like to see in a teacher; so hopefully that continues through the term!

He's still the lab co-ordinator, but he's teaching a core this semester.
Probably due to the number of students in chem and the lack of Dr. Lock.

Appearances can be deceiving though.
I heard he was reluctant to switch a lab period for an elective, but considering there are so many chem students it's understandable.
Ray, the IA for 2C03/2A03 can be quite sarcastic over correspondence, but he's so helpful in person.

lol she went on mat leave this year, but Hatala's great too. He taught the summer chem section and really made the material interesting. Plus he's always willing to help if you need it. Definitely a plus for chem stuff.
Dr. Landry wasn't too flexible about switching labs for anything last year, but in general he ended up being alright.

I second that he is intimidating but the review sessions he held were very good. so he'll likely be a good prof ^_^
