Probably not. I think most people got their money released on the 10th of September even if they picked it up earlier. So it's only been like a week. Last year it took me 2 weeks to get the money.

I have no idea for the first release since my money goes to McMaster.

My grant came out on the same day as osap. The money that I had to pay to mac from my osap was actually deducted from my grant portion (and not the loan portion). So maybe this is the case with you too. It is highly unlikely that they will give you $500 more after you have signed and picked up your loan documents.
