As part of 'global medical training', we were only allowed to take histories, check blood pressure, and check heart rate. These were supervised and rechecked by the physician.
In my experience, many patients had no problem disclosing their information because they were happy that they were getting ANY contact with a doctor.
We helped set up clinics in poor and rural areas that rarely have doctor access.

GMT wasn't the one that I had a major problem with. It was another group on campus.
