When I was 6/7 I came home from daycare and told my mom that I wasn't going back because there was a kid a year older than me that was bullying me (I vaguely remember him throwing a chair in my direction one day, and I clearly remember him kicking me once, I'm assuming there were other incidents that I don't recall). My mother just told me to hit him as hard as I could the next time he tried anything. I did and the bullying stopped (We actually became friends a few years later). I wasn't bullied again after that (well except for one incident at summer camp when I was 8 which ended exactly the same way this did).
Like kyle already said, for physical bullying, hitting back will usually end it.

There is nothing more annoying you can do to a bully than smile and walk away. It angers them immensely, but they have no actual incentive to start anything since you neither said or did anything to them.Granted, this is for situations where it potentially can get physical (been there) or its verbal. If this person has already started beating you, hit right back.
I don't know, I'm not a fan of instigating anything, but in self defense, go for it.
Note: self defense=this person has already started beating on you and you can't just LIE there doing nothing.

After watching that video, Entropy, how do you feel about the bully now? Any sympathy? Does it justified his actions? I wanna hear your opinion on this.

The only sympathy I feel for the 12-year old is for him already being brain-damaged prior to the incident. Really, even if he was having a rough time, you've gotta be pretty damn stupid to go pick a fight with someone much bigger and four years older than you.

I don't know why they gave an interview this this Richard boy. Richard looks like little punk that needs a good beating.

They probably couldn't get the other kid for questioning. They would get both if they can, I'm sure.

There is an intreview with Casey too. I was more referring to thefact that they gave attention to this kid for bad behaviour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aPrjkdifJ0
