Best experience with this is when a friend followed up with a question to one of these reps, by asking for their organization's Charity registration information.
The person was so thrown off. They didn't realize they were campaigning for a non-registered charity! Bahahahaha |

I think it needs your login. If you have never used macsecure before, it will ask once and never ask again. I'd like to experiment this by changing my password and try macsecure again.  |

You might be right there. I did login a long time ago, but never have had to since. i guess it must remember user IP addresses. and yeah that would be a cool little test to try on it! |

That's because it's saved in your settings... like any ordinary private wifi network (such as in a home).
So far I've never found an open, unsecured wifi network on campus, except random students tethering in lecture. |
