There is no longer a PBL component to the course; it's just two midterms (20% each), two assignments (5% each, pass/fail), and a 40% final (long-answer questions that are provided beforehand, some of which will show up on the final).
Despite being only two hours of lecture (and two hours tutorial), it is enormously content-heavy. I needed a number of days before each midterm to understand everything and memorize the details. With all the jargon around, immunology is practically its own language. It's very possible to do well if you put in the time and effort, and immunology is an interesting and applicable (and complex) subject.
I believe that initially the majority of seats are reserved for FHS students, and only at the end of August (~30th) do they open the remaining seats to everyone who meets the prerequisites.
