Health Sciences Transfer
Hey Everyone!

I have applied to transfer into the Health Sciences program. I was just wondering if there are any successful transfer applicants on this forum. I have a few questions for you guys:

1) How did you find the transition from your first year program of study (I am in Science I currently) into the BHSc program? I have often heard that second heard BHSc is the hardest (in terms of workload) of the four years. Why is this so?

2) When and how (email or MUGSI) did you guys find out that you were a successful applicant? The supplementary application this year was due on April 25 and it has been over a month and I haven't heard anything from the BHSc office. I did email them a while back ago, and they say that admission decisions will be made towards the end of May.

3) Was the transfer worth it?

That's it for now! Thank you guys in advance!

Final marks for this year are available on Friday. That is also the day you would find out if you were accepted into your program for the following year.

Soo...you should only need to wait a few more days to find out your status!

Hey, I'm in the same boat.

On my grade report it says this:

REGISTRATION FOR SEP08-APR09
ELIGIBLE FOR
BSC/HON , H LIFE SCIENCE
BHSC/HON, HON B HTH SCI
REGISTER FOR HTH SCI 2D06 IN LIEU OF HTH SCI 2E03.
STATS 1CC3 WILL REPLACE HTH SCI 2A03 (STATS).

But I'm pretty sure that means that I've only met the GPA cutoff.

Good luck man, and I pretty much have the same questions as you.
