Open office is great for what it is considering its absolutely free but its filled with glitches and gets really frustrating. I would not recommend it, Office for Mac is the way to go, and you can find it on DC++, at least that's where I got mine and its been working perfectly.

Where would i find the microsoft office to download online? Im just afraid to download something that could be a virus. Does anyone know the link? Also, is it just the free trial or the full version?

You're obviously new to Macs, they basically can't get viruses (well they can, but basically all viruses are written for windows since it still has >90% market share worldwide), so that's something you'll never need to worry about while having a Mac
