Help Please! I need advice!
Hi guys! So, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I was having trouble adding courses through Mosaic because I'm a transfer student, so I had to call the advisors of each department and have them manually add each course I wanted to take.

Problem is, I just found out I don't actually have the prerequsite for Physics 1A03 (Highschool Calculus or Math 1F03).

My question is, do you think this is OK? I already have it added on mosaic, and I am taking Math 1F03 in the same term, so I could just leave it alone... but I'm worried it might make the course difficult for me. I'm also taking "SOCSCI 2J03 - Intro to Stats" that term as well (along with Personality Psych and Abnormal Psych), so it's already a lot of math-based stuff, which is not my forte!

I can't move the physics into second term, because it's already full, but I could take it over the summer, if necessary.

What do you guys think— keep it or ditch it?

You can probably get into second term physics if you keep checking on mosaic for it to open. It's almost guaranteed that some people will drop it before the beginning of second term and you can get a spot.

Have you taken any physics courses before? That will also affect how difficult physics 1A03 will be.

Thanks for your reply! I meant to say that my second term schedule is already full, not the actual course. I did take Grade 12 physics, but it's definitely not my best subject. Also, I'm a transfer student who's been out of highschool for four years, so it was a long time ago.

If you are already registered for the course without the requirements, then it's fine and whatever you took in your school counted as a requirement.

I think 4 years is the maximum number of years you can have in-between your studies, otherwise you'd have to retake high school math again.
