Help Required
Hello to everyone,
I am an international student from India. I recently got admission in the PhD program at MAC.The tuition fee etc is covered by the school. However the stipend is $ 10,000/12 which equates to $ 833 per month.
My question: Is it enough for survival provided that I will spend around $375-400 on residence etc.
Please help.

Assuming that covers tuition, residence, and meal plan, that sounds like plenty.

Depends on your own spending habits. I would be fine with that...It's not a huge amount of money and I'd have to mind my spending, but it wouldn't be that much trouble, if living costs are only $375-400.

Agree with Starfish. I was under the impression that $400 was for residence alone.

Just to put it into perspective, I spend $400 on housing, plus $200/month on food. You should be fine!
