You'd better get creative with nicknames by the time you're in your late 20s!

Next thing you know, you've got to think of different things to say in bed too, 'cause it's weird if you use common phrases that you used with a different girl and that people use...all the time. Boooo.

You're welcome, now succumb to my opinion that you should like babe/hun/sweetie/gurl/scnookums when your s.o. calls you it.

Take back the last two and I'll consider it.

I can understand objections to mixes that sound like toddler babble though.
I see your take-back and raise you a hoochiemamma

I never find it irritating when the cook at Mohawk goes "what would you like hun." I find it cool. On other hand, BABE is CHEEZY not irritating, unless it's during sex lol. Hun is nowhere on the level of Babe, it's in fact cute.
But 'hey hun' walking down the street by someone of your age will be kind of awkward.

My original reason to post this was because latley someone I know has been saying it, and its always in situations where im being told something obvious.

E.g.
Searching through my course wear to find the page the prof is on..

"Uh, hun its the next page.."
.... really.. thanks..

... maybe because of the context its being used in I just dont like it. I dont mind when my manager at work calls me it... but I know its because she doesnt remember names very well .. " Can you get that for me hun?' -- somehow less annoying. Maybe also because shes significantly older than me as well..

In terms of names with my boy friend.. Sometimes hell call me Hunny Buns --( Honey - doesnt make it seem as cute..)
or some times gorge- like short for gorgeous which I guess sounds kinda odd..

most often we call each other bum. I dont know how that started but its just a thing now, we dont even notice sometimes.. its just like... Hey bum, whats up?

I guess it must be odd to overhear in public. Ha oh well.

No worries, most people think I'm a male on here despite my name. I didn't think Adelle was that uncommon that people don't recognize it as a female's name. I suppose changing the avatar might help people out, haha.

I knew you were female because you have the same name as my mom, except without the "-le" at the end.

On the other hand, Adeel could be a male's name.

If I left it as it's long form, it would've been fine. But then I would have had people calling me Adelaide, and that feels too formal for me.

And if I left it at the German spelling (Adelheid), and then people would think it's Adel-hide.

Lose-lose-lose, and that is not ideal.
