you should consider engineering if you're interested in taking more than one math class in a term we're the best faculty on campus anywayz

You don't need it in your top marks in order to take math in university. As long as you have taken it in high school, it doesn't matter if it was used in your top 6 marks or not.

Also, I'm pretty sure that if the prerequisites state that you need advanced functions to get admission into the program, then they will look at that mark for sure...but don't quote me on that because I am not 100% sure.

If it doesn't say you need advanced functions, then it may or may not be used in your top marks ... depends what your final marks are.

Ya if i got into Kinesiology then I would be able to take most of the maths because Functions is a prerequisite, but if i only got accepted into social science where no math is required then I would not include functions in my top 6 marks. So I hope you guys are correct about just needing to have taken the course to be able to take it university.

You don't want to take more than 1 Math per term anyways

You can 100% for sure take Math even if it wasn't counted as one of your top six marks. They just care that you passed it.

How many maths are you planning on taking per term? One's plenty (unless you're Mowicz)

Essentially yes, but you take what's called a 'bridge' course...ie. one that covers the material from highschool under the guise of a first year course (Math 1K03). This doesn't really 'mean much' as a course however, and is really just meant to be a necessary pre-requisite for higher maths for students in your situation.

Do I really need to take that math course? I would really rather not take that, and just get right into the other math courses.

If you haven't taken grade 12 calculus & vectors, yes, you really do need to.

Yes you do. The other prerequisites listed is from a few years ago when the grade 12 math courses had not been rearranged. Geometry and Vectors were in 1 semester and Functions and Calculus were in one section and they were non-sequential.

Now you need the second half of grade 12 math (MCV4U) to do most of the courses.
