Hon. B.A. in Psych 1st year courses
Hi everyone.
I am just looking for some advice as to which courses to choose as electives for first year.
I am hopefully going to be majoring in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour through Social Sciences.
The courses I NEED are:

MATH 1K03
MATH 1M03
PSYCH 1X03
PSYCH 1XX3
BIOLOGY 1K03/1P03

That's only half of the 30 units I need though.
I think I did this right! :S

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Elizabeth

I believe Bio 1M03 and 1A03 are required for some mandatory upper-level psych courses, so those might be good to take, as well.

thereaction says thanks to _Mike for this post.

I'd recommend going through the course reviews (reviews tab near the top of the main page), and seeing what people have to say about courses you're interested in for electives.

What I was getting confused about was how you can major in psych through science and social science.

Would you happen to know if the biology component is more important if you major through science? (I would assume so, but this is why I ask these things.)

Thanks!

And of course, if you have questions about any courses in particular, ask away. Odds are someone here has taken it already.

I swear I am going to count the number of times you say this in a day. You're a tank.

Huh? I've said that like....twice now. I don't even usually post in academic threads. Ill stick to hockey, TV, Politics, and Religion. You know, things that piss people off

But srsly...it's pretty hard to talk about courses when people don't tell you what they're interested in taking.

Sorry, I was just wondering what the most relevant electives are to my speculative major. Maybe I was too vague

That depends on what area of Psych you plan to get into later. Any ideas?

Lol, I wouldn't know how to set those up XD. But yeah, a lot of questions can't be answered by random students and actually require an academic advisor. That's why I'm always telling people to talk to an academic advisor. Plus, some stuff requires powers which students don't have.
