Honours Biology and Chemistry 2OA3
If I enroll in the honours biology program, will it allow me the option to avoid taking organic chemistry altogether? However, if I am required to take orgo sometime in the future, would it be possible to take it during my 4th year when I am in the process of applying to dental school?

Say I only applied to second year programs that are specializations, will I have the option of opting out (If I get into one of the bio specializations) and transferring to core biology instead?

You have to have good marks since bio program is limited enrolment and not like Life Sciences II and III where there is no max number of ppl so keep that in mind.

I guess what I'm really asking is, if I do manage to gain acceptance into one of my second year program choices that revolves around a biology specialization, would I be able to automatically just switch into a level II core bio program instead by asking someone? Or would I have to complete 2nd year in that specialization program and switch after 2nd year?

i think so... you would probably just have to see an academic advisor and explain why... if you have the marks to get into a specialization you shouldnt encounter problems transferrign to a core.. BUT i am not sure so see someone soon

Why not just take organic chemistry and then go into whatever specialization (or lack thereof) you want?
