honours life science level II program...
i'm considering applying for the honours life science level II program this year, but I was looking on the admission notes and it says i only need 9 units from BIO 1A03, BIO 1M03, PSYCH 1X03, and PSYCH 1XX3.
However, it says this only applies for the 2009-2010 admission only...and then below it says i need 12 units for the admissions that are effective 2010 - 2011.

Does anyone know which requirements actually apply to me if I'm a first year student this year planning to go into a 2nd year program next year? Much help appreciated

specifically.. im talking about the course calendar here:

For this year, you'll follow the 2009-2010 and not the 2010-2011... as it is this year you'll be applying =)

But wouldn't they be applying for the 2010-2011 academic year?

And on a side note, how is the genetics specialization? Interesting and/or hard whats it all about (more specific than genetics lol :p).

You are applying to the 2010-2011 year so you have to follow the requirements that are stated under that.

I'm not sure then. Technically you are applying for 2009-2010 admission, as you will know and get accepted prior to Sept 2010 for the 2010-2011 year. I could be wrong, so it's best to check with an registrar, seek academic counseling or something!

The genetics spec., I find to be interesting, though the work load I find to be heavy at times (I also work part-time). What defines the specializations are the courses you take... hence more genetics courses, like eukar. genetics, human genetics, etc.
