i would personally go with life sci, because of the flexibility - you're not "forced" to take any courses - you totally get to customize your degree - and you can sill take mol bio, biochem courses, although some courses are only open to people of that program. |
There are some courses you are forced to take.
Also, this can be a problem, since many of the courses you want to take might be full. You're not guaranteed a seat in any course, so you can get stuck with ones you don't want to take.
Depending on the biochem/mol bio courses you want to take, some are available to bio students but not life sci. I don't know if there are non-life sci courses that are open to students in life sci but not bio.
