Hi,

On Mugsi, it says I am under consideration for the Hooker scholarship.

From past experiences, does this usually change? I mean, will the quota shift, and can a hooker become a senate scholarship.

Thank you, I'm just trying to plan out my budget and costs for school

It can definitely change. I was 'under consideration' for a different $1000 scholarship last week and now it's disappeared from my MUGSI even though I'm very qualified for it. Final scholarship decisions and payments are made in late July.

Are the "available for senate scholarships" statuses available for everyone just yet?

Where are these considerations popping up in mugsi? i cant seem to find it

Its under the Scholarships & Awards section in Financial Aid, if you aren't considered for any scholarships you won't see anything

That is weird, I don't see anything? What is the competitive average for these awards? I thought my average was pretty competitive (11.5 +) ..

It depends on your faculty, though an 11.5+ should get you at least Senate for every faculty except Health Sciences. If you're in Health Sciences, you'll need at least an 11.8 for senate and a 12.0 for Hooker. (based on past years...could change slightly this year)

11.8 and up. Basically, a 12 in every course and you can only afford 2 11s and 1 10. Anything means you wont get da scholarship!
