Horizons
Hey my name's Julie and I'm going to be a new student this year at Mac in Life Sciences,

I was just wondering about the Horizons Future Student Leaders Conference, should I go? I've always wanted to be on the council and really get involved in my school activities. Does this hook me up with leadership oportunities? Is it worth the 170 dollars or should I wait to make friends until the summer orientation week? I'm just wondering cus it's a lot of money.
Anyways thanks for listening

Horizons is an amazing experience which no one should miss out on. It does fill up fast though. You will meet great people who are also coming into first year, and some of the leaders within McMaster from faculty associations to the MSU! I highly suggest doing this, and it is definetly worth the money.

I loved Horizons! I met a lot of people there, many of which I still talk to! I would suggest it if you have the funds but if money is a problem for you, don't worry you will still make friends during Orientations and Welcome Week!
