Haha! I know! And Anson's comment didn't really help me forget either . Buttt, when I think about it as a once-in-a-lifetime type of spending, I guess I feel better haha for now anyway.. So worth it!

My brother says that he'll pay back his parents when he gets a career and pays off his debt. My dad always says that a couple years later it'll be his again XD

HAHA sorry >.< I didn't mean it that way...

But yeah, I'm definetely paying my parents back when I get a steady cash flow in the future and after repaying my huge student debt... all this money talk is making me depressed...

YAY HORIZONS ANYONE?

Well iPod, notepad and pen, one set of PJs, two sets of "normal" clothes, flip flops, sneakers, everything on the list, some cash, camera. That's it I think...

You? Anything I missed?

Hmm, I know bed linens are provided, so that makes things easier. Hmm, I think that pretty much covers it all with the exception of toiletteries... I think that's all though! Awesome! my bag should be pretty small! (Taking the GO bus :( )

OH Pillow! I personally have to always use my own pillow... something psychological about it. I'm taking the GO Bus that day too! But I'm taking a different route from you probably (VIVA to York University > GO Bus 407 East straight to campus)

Kudos on the notepad and pen. Not many people think to bring these since at first, there doesn't really seem to be a need to. But you're going to have so much fun shoved down your throat within such a short period of time, keeping a mini-journal is the only way you'll be able to remember it all.

Or maybe it's just me. Some people get more out of the experience as a whole and the way it affects them on a subconscious level, but memories are definitely an important part of my life and I'd like them to be as detailed as possible, or at least I'd like access to them if I ever want to reminisce. So important, in fact, that it was the last sticker on the balloon. (You'll get what that means by the end of the conference.)

...Of course, this post is null and void if you planned on bringing a notepad and pen for other reasons. Please don't say "spitballs".

To add, if your camera seems to eat up battery life really quickly, I'd recommend brining the charger too. For some reason, the thought never crossed my mind, and despite two fully charged batteries, both were dead by my last day. I can't describe how much I was kicking myself.

Last thing: Sara's right about the clothes. You don't really need extra shirts, maybe a few pairs of pants, so if you find yourself running out of room, it's not a big deal if you go without the extras.

Hope to see you all there!

Oh yeah... I'm bring the charger for ALL my electronics. I forgot my charger for my camera once and although it lasted the whole trip, I was so mad at myself :( So I never forget now

Friday Forecast:

Sunny, High of 26 degrees, feels like 31, low of 16 degrees. Sounds like the perfect start to Horizons. Hopefully this weather forecast sticks.
