Today (Jun 28) was MUGSI/SOLAR registration for Life Science students and I wanted to pick German 1Z06 as my elective, which is in the Humanities department. It said that the course was full, which I'm guessing is because the Humanities students haven't registered yet (theirs is Jun 30).

I'm wondering when the Humanities subjects will open up to non-Humanities students so I can pick it as an elective? Will it be when SOLAR opens up for ALL student on Jul 12, or will it be the day after Humanities students have registered?

Just keep trying. Spots may open up. However, make sure you pick something else in the meantime in case you don't get into German. You don't want to end up having to take something that you really hate because you didn't get into German and there are hardly any courses available.
