Life Science Required Electives
I was looking at that giant map that tells you the required courses for First Year Programs and saw that for Life Sciences 1, 6units Electives were required. I chose psychology (so I could get a minor in psych at the end of 4th yr) and Comp Sci, is it possible for me to drop Comp Sci and still have all my required courses? (If i dont drop it, I have 30units, if I do I have 27).

The PSYCH courses I took are part of my required courses. I chose two Humanities Electives.
So you can drop COMP SCI and take another one, if you like.

You should also look into second year programs to see what courses are required for admission into them. I don't think you require 30 units for admission for most programs, but you'll need to make up any units you didn't take (Summer, extra year or overloading. The last one requires a 7.0CA and permission).

i dont think you have to have a full workload (30units), but some professional schools require full workload throughout undergrad, so take a look at what you wanna do after 4 years =)
