Important about admission
Hello,

this isnt like all the other admission questions ppl get

My brother is currently in saudi arabia studying The american curriculum (SAT) at an international school

he is Canadian because he lived in Canada for 9 years or so

for his high school career he studied grade 10 in Canada and got 9 credits, and he also got an equivalent credits for grade 9 which he also studied in Saudi with the american curriculum.
he passed the literacy test but he did not yet complete his 40 hours

He is hoping to become a doctor and study at Mcmaster or UFT or another good university if not ryerson or brock

He knows the prerequisite required but he is wondering

Can he continue the curriculum SAT hear and still be entered as a normal student and pay the normal fees?

Will he be able to get osap?

What do you recommend?

my parents arnt gona send him hear alone to study high school

Thx for your help

If you know some one i can send this question to plz tell me

I'm not sure because looking on the OSAP website, there are requirements for the number of years/months that you have lived in Ontario during a certain period of time but it says it is specific to the program. It's probably best to talk to Financial Aid (contact info: http://sfas.mcmaster.ca/office.html ).

As for admissions and tuitions, I would recommend talking to the Registrar. Contact info is here http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /contacts.html .

Probably a good idea to talk to someone at the OSAP office about this

I think it depends on the time period in which he lived in Canada.
You should check with Financial Aid to get a solid answer.

In terms of paying Canadian vs International fees, you should also check with financial aid. I'm pretty sure it's based on place of residence instead of citizenship. For example, I know several people who aren't Canadian citizens, but they live in Canada and aren't paying int'l fees. I'm not sure how the reverse situation works, though.

i believe he should be able to get OSAP if he decides to reside in Ontario and have a permanent home address here. If he still kept his Canadian citizenship title then he shouldn't be treated as an international student. but regarding OSAP like the others said you should conact OSAP ASAP and find out

Well, he can't apply with Canadian/Ontario credits if he doesn't have them, so he'd have to use the equivalent in the school system that he's in. It may or may not have an impact on what he has to pay.

its best to ask this Question to the Universities themselves rather than the students because it varies from Uni to Uni and also from the Area that your applying from
