Why do you have 600 posts?

I would suggest 'SMC Fancontrol' it is quiet usefull when your computer gets hot, it lets you control your fan speeds.

I think everyone else got stuff down

Transmission is really good for torrenting on macs. Little Snitch allows you to control what networks try to connect with your computer to up the security. SuperDuper! is a really powerful back-up program that is more intense than TimeMachine.
