Infusion Fashion Show 2008 A Success!
On Friday April 4th, the Hamilton chapter of INFUSION Canada held the 3rd annual charity fashion show, School of Walk. The event was held at the McMaster University Student Centre in CIBC Hall.
This year’s show featured up and coming student designer Cassie Blackman. Run entirely by students, INFUSION Canada is a federally registered charity that focuses on fostering innovation, leadership and growth in young Canadians supporting cancer survival. By encouraging the active participation of cancer patients and cancer survivors in the recovery process, INFUSION helps by forming support groups, creating opportunities for awareness and education, and developing life and leadership skills.
INFUSION Canada's event helped to raise funds for assisting cancer survivors to reach their goals through post-secondary education.
