I have mentioned
TalentEgg quite a few times on MacInsiders before; and as some of you know I've been writing for their
publications since the spring, and was promoted to an Assistant Editor position a few months ago. So this is sorta-kinda a shameless self-promotion.
Anyway, TalentEgg has an ongoing contest called the
Top Talent Series, where current students or new grads will be profiled on their site and given access to some of Canada's top employers in various fields. Its a means of making you stand out to all of the potential employers out there, and hopefully help you score a sweet job!
As I said before, it's a contest, so students from schools all over the country are eligible. What you want to do is create an entry that shows why you would make such an awesome employee. Since Mac students on the whole are involved in a variety of extra-curriculars (intramurals, TA-ing, clubs, MSU, varsity teams, faculty groups etc) I thought it is something that a lot of you might be interested in, especially since
now is the time to start hunting for jobs.
