iPhone/iTouch on Campus wifi
Hi Everyone,
I've noticed that I need to manually enter my macid/password every time I want to use MacConnect. Is there some way of avoiding this (say, through installed authentication certificate) so that my phone automatically connects whenever MacConnect is available?
I was able to do this at my previous university.

Thanks!

I have to manually enter it also. It's not that big a deal because if you had a laptop, you'd have to enter it through Clean Access Agent.

But hey, at least we can use it.
I can't even use my iphone internet on the first floor of my house (but I can use it in the basement...)

I hate this Cogeco shit.

the new software (3.0) should remember your password, so the window comes up asking for you macid, but all you need to do is press submit. i think you need to make sure autofill is on, under settings->safari.

2/3 of you could get this, since cogeco is on cable and this is thru phone. It will probably cost(its $50 a month for the whole thing) you the same as before(other than set-up).

Also your router probably needs some tweaking or replacing, its supposed to cover a house.

I hate Cogeco! We have the one with like 120GB bandwidth limit and its speed is supose to be 16 mb/s, but its so slow sometimes.

Takes like 30 mins to download a 150 mb file sometimes from Megaupload! Youtube vids take like 10 mins to laod sumtimes as well! They charge like $76 for that internet, at least take the time to make sure ur network is running well! Hate monopolies!!!
