Macconnect + iTouch
For some reason I can't connect very well to Macconnect this year.. and when I do, its only very brief letting me only use appliactions that use internet that are not browsers.. I log in, and either I return to the login screen with the username/password fields blank again, or I get redirected to some stupid Apple page advertising their crappy products with only a big cancel button at the top of the screen with no way to navigate away from that page...
Everything else works fine on my iPod, just not Macconnect... :(

That's weird, mine holds a pretty strong connection. I've only tried it in MDCL though.

My laptop (non-mac) works perfectly fine with MacConnect but my iPod Touch doesn't seem like it can connect (Basically doesn't let me log-in). Not sure what's up with that, it's not a big deal for me. If you really need to see what's wrong you can ask UTS.

I have never had a problem with macConnect. Used it on my iTouch before and now on my iPhone. So I doubt its a compatibility issue. Maybe try clearing the cache and cookies.

I might try resetting my iPod and see if that does anything.

One tip!
Don't connect through MacConnect. Use MacSecure instead. It allows you to set your login information ONCE and have it auto log in everytime instead of having to do it each time the connection reset.

I talked to one of the dudes from Mac UTS. He basically blocked all iPods and iPhones from being able to use MacConnect because he hates Apple.
Pretty cool guy.
