Both professors are teaching each core this year, one of them will teach the first half of the semester, while the other will finish up the second half. So if its an issue of which core to choose, all of them will be the same.

In regards to their actual teaching methods, I have heard mixed reviews. Kajiura is known to be fairly easy, but boring in class (from what I've heard). Da Silva was new last year, I think people said she was fairly great, not sure about her difficulty.

I have Dr DaSilva for Bio 1a03, just finished the exam actually. shes very clear and understandable and passionate about bio, u can tell it shines through. she also very patient and loves answering questions and applying lectures to current research/scientific discoveries.

difficulty, very fair, although she tends to test other subjects more than others even though we spent a lot of time on a certain topic. like big picture, application questions
