Kin 1y03 1yy3
Hey guys if anyone is registered in KIN 1YO3, 1YY3 for this coming year (2011/2012) and wants to switch out PLEASE let me know!!!

I have been trying for the past 2 years at this is seriously the last time i can try for it. I need to have them completed for grad school before 2nd term of my 4th year (i'm in my 3rd year now) and they are not offered in the summer.

Thanks

if that's the case i would try emailing the admin and explaining your situation...most of the seats are held back for first year students but they'd probably be able to make an exception

Hi Nicole,

If the course is a requirement for graduate studies then you can be provided "special permission" and take the course even if it's full. Drop into the Kinesiology office (Second Floor IWC) andsee Rosalie Goodwin for some advice,

i have the same problem, i emailed them and they said there is no one you can email in the kin or science department at the time as they have been asked to meet and exceed the enrolement for year 1 students, therefore there is a smaller capacity for upper year students in courses such as kin 1y03. if anyone else is planning to drop, please let me know. thank you

I think our best bet is to take the course equivalents at another university in the summer =/ I see that as the only way I'll ever take first year anatomy, sadly. I don't understand why they can't have two lecture sections..

i agree i think i'm going to have to do that. I don't understand why they won't open up another section or hire a new prof or something. This isn't the first time people have not gotten into the course and it's like one of the only anatomy courses offered here. :(

I would assume its the lab component not the lecture sections that limit what the enrollment is. Even if they open up another 400 spots in lecture, that's 400 more lab spots they have to find.
