Kin 1Y03/1YY3 TA
So there is a application for TA position for the 1st Anatomy course starting March 1st.
Is it hard to be a TA? How much do they make?

Whether or not it's "hard" to be a TA depends on what course you have to TA for, how much you know about the subject, how much effort you are willing to put into it and how good your teaching and communication abilities are. I don't think it would be difficult to TA those courses, but it would require knowledge and effort to TA well.
As for pay, undergrad TAs make approx $22/hr, minus union fees and whatever else.

As a first/second year, its unlikely you will get a TA position. Even with a 12, you will probably be beaten out by 3rd and 4th years who will have more experience, more courses/knowledge and probably present an overall better fit (maturity, etc). UG positions are hard to find to even start with.
Not to mention they usually require 2.5 or 3 years to even qualify, at least in Bio.

Actually I knew a lot of 2nd year Kin students who TA'd first year anatomy. I don't think there's much you learn in 2nd or even 3rd year that will directly help you run the labs. (Perhaps in 4th year, if you take Functional Anatomy).
They don't have a very rigorous selection process, if you have a 10 average in 1Y03 an 1YY3, you're eligible. I don't know how many applicants there are or anything like that.
