As to MacKin courses, it really depends on which profs are on research leave and how long its been since they've offered the course. The ideal situation is the course is at least offered once out of your two upper years as it really doesn't matter if you take 4th year kin courses in 3rd year or vice versa.

That said the reps of the Mac Kinesiology profs are far beyond anything I have heard of coming out of Waterloo (although props to Waterloo for being the birthplace of Kinesiology).

If you want to go into Exercise Metabolism McMaster is the place. (Other fields I've heard are pretty darn good as well)

Western Kin has a cadaveric dissection course, if you're in their science stream. But that's like, their only half-worthwhile course

You definitely do get to look at cadavers in the 1st year anatomy course though

First year KIN 1A03 and 1AA3 were probably my favourite courses to date.

1. Easy-going labs
2. Lecturers were entertaining and interesting
3. Content is interesting and tested in a way that's both fair and promotes retention

Yeah, he's a really good professor. He makes coming to morning classes easy, too.

All the ladies love him, all the guys love him.
