Lab access cards?
Hi all,

Certain programs (ie. in Engineering) receive an access card to get into labs. I know they're being distributed to HealthSci-ers on Faculty Day, but I won't be there. So where do I go instead to get this card?

Thanks in advance.

You can get it from the BHSc. office later.

I've never heard about students in engineering receiving lab access cards before. What sort of labs need these cards?

I don't know about Engineering but different programs have their own labs and areas around campus that can only be accessed by students in that specific major. For example there are certain computer labs with programs needed for different majors that may only be accessed by students in that major. In Multimedia we have our own lab in TSH that you need a special magnetic key to access. The computers in there have the programs and applications we use in our program.

For different types of Engineering they might have the same kind of thing, perhaps computer engineering or software or something has a computer lab.
