Labs and Tutorials
I'm a bit confused as to how labs and tutorials work.
On the Bio 1A03 list, it says:

L19 Th 14:30 17:20 1 BSB/214
L20 Th 14:30 17:20 1 BSB/214

How come there are two lab classes at the same time and in the same room?
Same thing for tutorials.

You only register for one lab section--so if you register for L20 make sure your tutorial is T20 (the number MUST be the same because your labs and tutorial will rotate each week-i.e. one week you will have lab then the next week you will have tutorial then the week after you will have a lab then tutorial ect...

hope this helps

I have a feeling that this will change when the timetables are released on Aug 11th. Typically, the Bio 1A03 is set up such that one week is your lab, and the next week, at the same timeslot is your tutorial. I just checked the schedule, and they have not entered tutorials. So, either it will be finalized on the 11th, or they have changed the course since I took it.

However, keep in mind, sometimes they do combine labs. I had two lab sections in one room for my second year bio last year.

So, in other words, you go to the lab every other week. For example, if you chose L19, you might go to the lab during Week A, and people who chose L20 would go to the laf during Week B.

Chad says thanks to Sarah13 for this post.
