I'm not completely sure of how laundry works at res. I'll be in McKay & I have no idea a) where to do my laundry, b) the pricing, & c) if I must bring my own detergent. & also kinda unrelated, but do I need to bring my own garbage bin to res or are there some provided? Thanks!

You have to buy a laundry card. Ask your CA in the first week where the laundry room is... all residences have one. Yes, you have to buy your own detergent. The garbage bins are provided.

I believe it was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to use the dryer.

A) It is in the Commons Building underground (which is conveniently attached underground, so you don't even have to go outside

B) 2 years ago it was $1.25 (I think) to wash and the same to dry, so about $2.50 per load assuming you don't need multiple machines

C) Yes you need your own detergent (buy it from Wal Mart or grocery store, they are pretty cheap and last whole year)

D) I think they provide a garbage bin, but if not they are all around or you can improvise
