It's pronounced "less" since the building is named after a man named Leslie A Prince.

"Prince was a dedicated teacher, coach and administrator at McMaster who was actively involved in student and residential affairs. Prince served McMaster in a variety ways during his 34-year career, including positions such as varsity coach, Director of Athletics, Dean of Men, and Dean of Students."
"Naming the new residence after Prince honours him for his outstanding leadership and service in the McMaster community, especially for his involvement in residence life. Prince was a long-serving hall master in the residence system, living with his family on campus until after his retirement in 1980. Through his involvement in the residence system Prince was a mentor for at least five generations of residence and student leaders. Prince was instrumental in the development in the Inter-Residence Council, student delegates who live within the residence system and aim to demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of residence life at McMaster. Prince was devoted to making McMaster residence life a positive university experience."
I lived in Les Prince for my first year, and didn't find this out until second year, lol! (Though I knew that it was pronounced "less"). I was also welcome week rep for this building in the past, and gave tours of the building two years in a row during Welcome Day in May, and I'd say about 50% of people would pronounce it correctly, haha.
