Well, it's a few minutes past Hedden, and my friends in Hedden always used to complain about how far everything was...

Commons is probably about a ten minute walk.
The student centre about 15
And MDCL about 20.

i lived in LP last year, it is ridiculously far and i wished that i could have lived in somewhere closer like whidden. It is probably like a 5 min walk to get to commons and like a 12 min walk to mdcl, I would reccomend getting a bike. Plus being far away sucks in the winter time and there is no underground connection to commons

Great points Justin. I can imagine how annoying it would be having to walk a long distance to Commons since thats the central hub for eating!

Other than the distance factor, how did you find LP? Did you enjoy your stay?

Les Prince this year has an 80's theme for Welcome Week... looks like FUN!

Remember MC Hammer, Saved by the Bell, or Super Nintendo? As the 'New Kids on the Block', Les Prince will be kickin' it old school - 90's style! We are celebrating the funky and fresh lifestyle of the Les Prince of Bel-Air by transforming the building into a 90's paradise! We're going to party in the wild with our funky green shirts that say 'DJ Ursa keeps it fresh!' to give tribute to Ursa, the bear that spins the coolest tunes from the decade we love. The party starts when you get here!

To find your residence WW information (as well as other Welcome Week info):

1. Go to www.mcmaster.ca
2. Type in "fye" in the search bar on the top right
3. Click on the first result
4. On the left hand side click on "Welcome Week"
5. Left hand side "Residence Events"

Check out the other neat information about Welcome Week that has been posted!

GREAT tip, Caitlyn! Thanks!

I think you should post this message again in the 'Residence' thread in the Res sub-forum so everyone will know and not just LP.
